    This is a project financed by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China during 2013-2016. The objective and contents of the project are to establish and promote the key technology systems to monitor and assess the impact of global climate change on the ecology and environment of the World Heritage sites, especially the relationships between the ecology and environment of rare and endangered species' habitat both in the Amazon tropical forest in Brazil and the Sichuan Giant Panda habitat in China.
      Under this project as many as 25 papers have been published, including 12 in SCI, 6 in EI, and 7 in Chinese core journals. It also produced 2 software copyrights, and 1 monograph (being published). It cultivated 1 post-doctor, 5 doctoral candidates, 9 Master degree candidates, and 4 engineers. The China and Brazil cooperative research will continue during subsequent years
